Travelling around different countries, I'm surprised and impressed how Mc Donald and Starbucks take over the world. They are everywhere.
Oh, but I haven't seen Mc Donald in Vietnam!
maybe that has something to do with the history.

That's because in Vietnam people just eat anything. If you get hungry you just find a cat or something real quick and eat that. no need to go buy food :-)
