ず～っと書いてなかった！！I haven't written this in a long long time!!
いっぱい書こうと思ってたのに。。。就活やら、何やらで忙しかったのです。。i was busy looking for job and other things... Sorry..
就活一応終わりました。私はやっぱり海外にすごく興味があって、国際的な仕事は絶対条件だったんだけど、いまやほとんどの仕事がそう。その中でも私は「日本の強いものを世界に広めたい！」という思いが強かった。留学する前とかは海外志向が強くて、外資系がいいなぁとか思ってたけど、留学先でアメリカ企業でインターンをして、「日本っていいなぁ。自分ってやっぱり日本人なんだなぁ。」と実感しました。そして日本人として日本の誇れるものを世界に広げたいと思ったの。しかも、もうすでに世界トップの企業でなくて、まだまだ可能性がある企業。私が世界一になるよう貢献したい！と思ったのです。
内定も希望のとこもらえたので、うれしいです☆だた、勤務地・配属先が不安。。まぁこればっかりはわからないね。もちろん、希望は言うけどね。
Well, i finally got a job. The company where i wanted to go. It's a Japanese manufaucturing company. Of course i wanted to do international job but nowadays most of the jobs are international. so, what i wanted to do is expand the company and our products in the world which i am proud of as a Japanese and Japanese products. Before i went abroad, i kind of wanted to get into foreign company. but while i was there, i felt that i am really Japanese and became to be proud of myself as a Japanese. Therefore, i thought i should start working in Japanese company and learn more about Japanese buiness and culture as a Japanese. Sorry if i said 'Japanese' too much and sound stupid. Anyway, right now i am worried about where i'm gonna be working and which position. I think this is very different from other countries job hunting.. In Japan, (i'm talking about people graduating college and looking for jobs) new graduates start looking for a job 1 year before they graduate. All the students start job hunting at the same time (usually from January to March). Big well known company will take about 100 employyes. Job-hunting in Japan is very competitive. Popular company like Toyota will be few hundred times as many as the fixed number.
And usually you don't know which position you will get. You can say your will but the company dicides. Isn't this strange? what if you have to do what you don't wanna do? In this case, japanese think that doing many different kinds of jobs will broaden your mind and you may find other interests doing that job. Plus, company put you in this position cause they think that that position suits you. Somepeole really seem to enjoy their job even though that was the job they didn't wanna do. So, maybe this works but i'm a little nervous now.
今日はいっぱい書いた！Wow, i wrote a lot today. 久々だしいっぱい書くことあるけど、だらだらなりそうなのでこの辺で☆

Congratulation!! You are well deserved.
I am very proud of your endeavor and accomplishment. You have strong self-discipline, so I am pretty sure you will achieve your both professional and personal objectives.
I have been applying to an intern position at the American company's Japanese branch office. Their U.S. headquarter has an internship program; however, their Japanese branch office does not. I am eager to get some networks within the industry as well as experience at their Japanese branch office, so I have been negotiating with the HR department directly about the feasibility of my internship opportunity there. I have no idea whether or not my efforts will end up working well and I will make it at this moment but I will keep doing my best.

so you're in the U.S. looking for an intern and hopefully to get a job, right? i guess that's how japanese(or foreigners) get a job in America. it's a long long way to go but to make your dream come ture, you have to keep believing yourself and never give up! i also want to get a job in the u.s. and live there in the future but i know i need to work and gain skills in japan now. Maybe in a few years.... who knows.

i think it is very good that you are proud of yourself for being a Japanese. in my country, in hongkong, i think partly because HK used to be a British colony, so childs born in HK do not have a strong bonding with China...i'm not sure if i could generalise it, but people around me are proud of themselves being a HONGKONGese, rather than a CHINESE...and so, i think it is a good thing to be proud of your own country.
i think most people would feel uneasy in the job hunting process. so, instead of anxiety, lets look forward n see what kind of position you are assigned and which branch you are going to work in.
and what kind of products do your company make?

the japanese "job-hunting system", i think its really reflecting the social conditions/trends, i guess to a certain degree, this system have some points in common with hongkong's. in hongkong, we have more graduates these few years and the job market is, of cos, getting more severe and competitive. employers want the top marks or the so-called SMART graduates, prefereably with previous experience...and as you have said, where could a full time college student got the !!experience!! from?
i personally think employers (or the general public, too?) expect too much from everything. i have this idea in my mind because i feel modern people (= us??) are walking too fast into the future, over-optimising everything...
ah!! i'm sorry to write about my personal opinions, and i think i have probably wrote too much.
